North Sydney Dental Practice, a locally owned and operated business based in Sydney Australia, is proud to announce that several members of their staff have volunteered to take part in the MS Walk and Fun Run.

The event will take place on the 7th April at Metcalfe Park, Pyrmont, Sydney NSW 2000, over distances of either 8 km or 4 km. The fun run aims to raise awareness and funding for essential services and support for people living with Multiple Sclerosis.

The team at North Sydney Dental Practice are all very community focused, and actively participate in numerous charitable events, but they specifically wanted to take part in this event as one of their friends and a staff member at the North Sydney Dental Practice is battling with Multiple Sclerosis.

The event is one of three which take place all across the country, the other two runs being in Melbourne and Canberra. The event is run or walked annually, and attracts typically a total of about 9,000 participants every year. This event alone has raised millions of dollars, and the hope is that this year it will be even more successful than ever.

“There is something special about the staff at North Sydney Dental Practice,” said Dr Kipel of the North Sydney Dental Practice. “When Dr Hargreave floated the idea of taking part in the event, the whole team bought into it immediately. Everyone was enthusiastic about taking part in whatever way they could, and there has been a great deal of enthusiasm and excitement as the day gets closer. However, everyone has not lost sight of the reason behind the event and has been working hard to raise as much money as possible for what is a very worthwhile cause.”
