Permanent makeup artist Brow Daddy, a.k.a. Ruben Kasper, is heading to Florida to teach a class in his signature Ombré Powder Brow technique at Solé on the Ocean on Sunny Isles Beach Miami.

Permanent makeup artist Brow Daddy, who also goes by Ruben Kasper, is heading to Florida to teach a sold out class in his signature Ombré Powder Brow technique August 7 at Solé on the Ocean on Sunny Isles Beach Miami.

This marks the next stop on Brow Daddy’s busy teaching schedule, which sees him hopping all over North America, over to Europe and even down to Australia to teach classes in the Ombré Powder Brow permanent makeup technique that he has made famous on Instagram.

The sold out class will consist of Brow Daddy showing participants how to create the perfect brow using his freestyle mapping technique and then how to create permanent Ombré Powder Brows that give people waterproof and smudgeproof brows that will last up to three years depending on the recipient’s skin.

Students will then get their chance to practice the technique on pig skin rather than the usual fake latex skin that many other instructors use. Brow Daddy says it’s an integral part of his training method to use pig skin, as the animal hide mimics the elasticity and feel of human skin much better than the fake latex skin that has traditionally been used for teaching permanent makeup techniques.

“That fake latex skin feels like one of those old mouse pads people used to have for their computers,” Brow Daddy said. “It feels nothing like human skin. But pig skin? That really does feel and act like human skin in a lot of ways. It has the same stretch as human skin and permanent makeup pigment acts the same way in pig skin as it does in human skin. That means students really get a feel for how deep the permanent makeup machine needs to penetrate the skin.”

In addition to learning the new skill of the Ombre Powder Brow permanent makeup technique, class participants in Florida will also receive the same type of machine that Brow Daddy uses on his own clients.

The venue for the class is Solé on the Ocean, a boutique hotel in Sunny Isles nestled amongst the popular communities of Golden Beach, Bal Harbour, and Aventura and minutes away from South Beach and the Art Deco District of Miami.
