The Algarve has been voted Europe’s Leading Beach Destination 2026 at the World Travel Awards, securing the title for the eleventh time and setting an unprecedented record, with previous victories in 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. The distinction was announced at the Europe Gala Ceremony 2026 held on the 17th October in Montenegro.
