Caribbean Tourism Organization Marks World Tourism Day 2026

The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) is marking World Tourism Day 2026 by calling for a Caribbean approach to technology that strengthens tourism while keeping people, communities and culture at the center. This year’s theme, “Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence to Redesign Tourism,” comes as technology continues to change the way people plan and book travel, discover destinations and share their experiences, as well as how tourism businesses and organizations operate. CTO’s World Tourism Day program on Monday, Sept. 28 is focused on helping the region translate those changes into practical benefits for the sector.
